Cakaza was created with one simple purpose — to help women reconnect with themselves again.

As women, and especially as mums, we spend so much of our lives caring for everyone around us that we often forget to care for ourselves. Between the constant demands of everyday life, the mental load, the pressure to keep going and the exhaustion that can come with motherhood and womanhood, it’s easy to lose touch with who you are beneath it all.

Cakaza was born from that feeling.

What started as a love for beautiful home fragrances and meaningful self-care slowly became something much deeper, a space centred around comfort, calm, confidence and wellbeing. A brand created not just to fill homes with beautiful scents, but to create moments of peace, reflection and reconnection for women who deserve to feel like themselves again.

Behind Cakaza is a real journey filled with growth, uncertainty, resilience and healing. Like many women, there were moments of feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained and disconnected from myself while trying to balance life, responsibilities and motherhood. Creating Cakaza became more than building a business, it became a reminder that women matter too.

Every candle, diffuser and self-care product is created with intention: to encourage women to slow down, protect their peace and create small rituals of calm within busy lives.

The Beginning

Cakaza began during a season where I realised how easy it is for women, especially mums, to lose themselves while taking care of everyone else. Life can become overwhelming, exhausting and emotionally heavy. Somewhere along the way many of us stop prioritising our own wellbeing, confidence and peace.

I wanted to create something meaningful, something that felt comforting, empowering and real.

The Journey

What started as a passion for home fragrance and self-care slowly became something much deeper. Building Cakaza gave me purpose during difficult moments and became a reminder that healing, growth and rediscovering yourself is possible even during challenging seasons of life.

There have been moments of doubt, fear and vulnerability while building this brand, but every challenge has strengthened the vision behind it.

The Vision

My vision for Cakaza is to create more than just products. I want to build a community where women feel safe, supported and encouraged to reconnect with themselves again. A brand that reminds women they deserve rest, softness, confidence and moments of peace without guilt.

Cakaza is about creating space for women to simply breathe, reset and feel like themselves again.

Why I Created Cakaza

1. To Help Women Prioritise Themselves Again

So many women spend their lives putting themselves last. I wanted Cakaza to encourage women to slow down, protect their wellbeing and remember that self-care is important too.

2. To Create Comfort and Calm in Everyday Life

I wanted to create products and experiences that bring peace into busy homes and overwhelming moments — small daily reminders to pause, reset and breathe.

3. To Build a Genuine Community for Women

Cakaza was created to feel real, honest and supportive. A space where women can feel seen, understood and inspired while navigating life, motherhood, healing and personal growth.
